Job codes

When Jog ends a job, or has something to say about how it ended, it gives a code: on the job in Jog, and in Jog’s check on your commit.

  • First digit whose doing: 1 your settings or account, 2 your job.
  • Second digit when: 0 before your first step, 1 during the job.

Before your first step

The job fails before any of your commands run, and costs nothing.

  1. JOG-101

    No Jog credit yet

The account hasn't added Jog credit, so Jog ended the job before its first step. Load credits, then re-run it.

    Your accountCosts nothing

  2. JOG-102

    Out of Jog credit

The account had no credit left to start the job on, so Jog ended it before its first step. Load credits, then re-run it.

    Your accountCosts nothing

During the job

One of these ends a job; a job has one at most.

  1. JOG-111

    Time limit

The job reached the account's max time per job. Jog ends a job's machine at its limit, so cleanup steps may not run; timeout-minutes ends a job gently.

Your settingsCost capped at the limit

  2. JOG-112

    Spend limit

The job reached the account's max spend per job at its size's price. Jog ends a job's machine at its limit, so cleanup steps may not run; timeout-minutes ends a job gently.

Your settingsCost capped at the limit

Notes

Said beside how a job ended, never instead of it. A note changes nothing a job costs.

  1. JOG-211

A process ran out of memory

A process was killed for lack of memory. Each size has 4 GB a vCPU; if the job needs more, try the next size up.

    The job'sCost as it ran
